Draft @ Borefts 2014. Nice, a Dutch beer with a more balanced use of pepper. Body is thick enough, with notes of coffee and cacao. A second after the sip, the pepper comes in and gives the beer a nice spicy afterburner. Balanced and tasty.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2014. Thank you! Black, creamy mocha head. Vegetable chilli nose, mocha, malty, sugar, berries. Taste is strong old vegetable chilli, strange old, herbal chilli, roast, chocolate. Medium bodies. I’m a big fan of chilli / spicy food, there are fresh delicious chilli’s that have an almost paprika like structure, there are cooked ones which nicely burn in your mouth & there are nasty vegetable ones which have been probably too long submerged in a liquid or something, which is how too many chilli beers taste like, the later kind is what I find here,… This is manageable but this isn’t really how I like my spicy food nor how I think that it should be.

sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2014: fast schwarzes Bier mit ordentlicher bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Kaffee, holzig, leicht säuerlich. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, Kaffee, dunkle reife Früchte.

Clear dark brown beer, creamy irregular beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: roasty, caramel, bit sweet, chocolate, bit smoky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: hot and spicy, roasted, caramel, coffee. Aftertaste: bitter, dry, hot and spicy, meh. Not a big fan.

Had this at Borefts BF, Bodegraven, Netherlands, Friday 26th September 2014. Warmth from the off, in fact this gers warmer. Smooth but steady, likeable stout. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Draught. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. Slightly smoked. Alsa too powerfull chilinotes. Chili have no place in beer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long burning finish. Oily palate.

zwart met mooie bruine kraag aroma van rookmouten, vanille, zoet, chocolade, koffie, vol aroma smaken zijn zacht, glad, romig, pepertje maar véél minder dan de peperspray porter, medium body, gebrande en geroosterde mouten, chili/peter, laurier lekker spul, volle body, olieachtig, erg lekker spul dit !

Tap@Fermentoren, CPH (22/08/2014) - pours dark brown with a beige head. Roasted malty aroma and taste, light smoke, some chocolate, caramel, coffee, chilli bite in the finish.

Bottle courtesy of Kermis. Poured a dark brown with a tan head. The aroma is fruity spice hop. The flavour is medium bitter sweet with a big spicy hop chilli pepper, light metallic palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
