Hartverwarmend winterbier. Texels Noorderwiend is een complex winterbier gebrouwen met gedroogde curacaoschillen en diverse soorten speciaal mout. Hartverwarmend, zachtbitter en fruitig. We brouwen ons karaktervolle winterbier met diverse soorten gerst, geoogst op Texel zelf. Maar ook met gedroogde curaçaoschillen en een beetje tarwemout, dat dit hartverwarmende bier extra vol en romig maakt.

Pours a hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, ripe fruits, slight caramel. Noticeable carbonation, medium sweetness. This brew is nice enough, but not very special.

Bottle 0,3ltr: Hazy amber coloured brew with a lot of taste of orange and citrus peels, so this beer end fruity bitter.

Tight off white head stayed on a reddish brown body. Malt, berries & spiced fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth, soft & clean. Raisins, dried fruits, berries, malt & sweet jam tastes with a nicely hopped finish. Low rate on RB but an excellent beer to me.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy orange-brown amber, off-white head. Aroma: Malty, yeasty. Taste: Caramel-malty, yeasty and bit sugary. Fruity hints. Medium body, just below carbonation. Over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Quite nice.

13 December 2019. Christmas Beer Evening with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy amber with a lasting, very small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of cinnamon, speculoos, biscuit, caramel, raisin, clove, candied banana. Taste has sweet caramel, candied banana, biscuit & brioche, softly bitter spicy cinnamon & clove. Ends with herbal hops, caramel, cookie & softly warming liqueur alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Good semi-strong Belgian Ale.
