Super rich dark brown coloured body with a nice, two centimetre tall brown head with an oily glow on top. Aroma of raisins, roasted malt, coffee, milk, earth, nuts, caramel and a good dose of bourbon and alcohol - quite pungent. Medium to Full-bodied; Slightly smokey flavour at first with a good roast flavour, showing some lactic notes, a hint of earth, some nuts and raisins and a little toast on the finish. Aftertaste is rich and creamy with a lot of lactose and roast at the end, with some alcohol bite, a touch of coffee and a slight bitterness at the tail end. Overall, a nice robust beer that is on the light side (or continental) of Imperial Stouts, but complex and enjoyable throughout. Worth a sample, especially if you can get this without trekking to Catalonia! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York 19-July-2014 for US$7,00 sampled a day before leaving to go back to New York on 23-November-2015, without ever seeing this beer in Barcelona.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - L89 - BBE 02/16, at Molotow, 20150724) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had liquorice, burnt malts, sweetness and chocolate. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were liquorice, sweetness, burnt malts, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet and bitter. A nicely balanced strong brew. Nothing was overdone and ABV was wll hidden.

330 ml. bottle sampled. BBF 07/2016. Purchased @ Malt Attacks. Pours a tad viscous blackish brown with fading mocha bubbles. Nose is big on liquorish, quite umami with soy sauce chocolate, overly umami & liquorish heavy for my preferences. Taste is overly charcoal heavy for me, soy sauce, herbal, burned liquorish, burned bread, light chocolate, liquorish & dark sugar. A touch too thin body. Just not aligned with my preferences. Seems like I do not care for the Nómada beers brewed at Cervezas Cuenca S.A.

Pours nearly black. No head. Smell is thick. roasty malts. Taste is intense, bitter, dark grains. Booze is rather hidden. Bit vanilla-ish

Black brown colour, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, raisins, caramel, brown sugar, light alcoholic. Sweet flavour, caramel, mocha, milk chocolate. Finish chocolate, medjoul dates, mocha, lingering bitter notes.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks zvsn. Black with a brown head. Aroma of dark fruits, roast, a licorice note, a smoky note and a bit of alcohol. Bittersweet flavor with roast, dark fruits, some smoked sausages and a bit of coffee. Medium-bodied, a bit over-carbonated for the style.
