malty, caramel, slightly sweet but not too much! I liked this alt bier the most

Bottle pour at Goldfinger. Autumn Brown colored, show some nice tan Lacy in the glass. Nose is malty and a little yeasty, bit kind of mild. Dark malty taste of an alt, an impression of, but probably no physical smoke involved. A little malt sweetness. Settles in nicely

Bottle at home, courtesy of Erzengel, thanks a lot! Pours totally opaque copper with a thick off-white head. Nose is toffee, bready malts, light earthy notes. Tastes is moderately sweet malty with a restrained bitterness, showing toffee, bready notes, a faint touch of chocolate on the palate, caramel and vague fruity notes. Closes with a sweetish, malty finish that dries out by the end and also shows some fruity notes. It has a light, somewhat crisp body and average carbonation. Thanks Gabriel for making it possible for me to tick this classic!

From cask at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Aroma is bready caramel malts with a nutty touch, toffee, some fruity notes with a suggestion of hops. Pleasant gentle bitterness in the finish, sweetness within bounds. Body is medium. Pretty exquisite Alt, balanced with plenty going on.
