Unser SCHUMACHER ALT (4,6 Vol.-%) ist ein würziges Vollbier, das nach alter Tradition gebraut wird. Die obergärige Spezialität besticht durch Ihren schlanken Geschmack mit einer leicht malzigen Note und die erfrischende Wirkung reiner Gärungskohlensäure.

Die edlen Aromahopfen aus der Hallertau und dem Tettnang sorgen für die feine Bittere und das abgerundete Aroma. Und eine glänzende Bernsteinfarbe sowie der kräftige Schaum lassen schon auf den ersten Blick erkennen: Bei unserem Altbier wurde das Zusammenspiel von Hopfen, Malz und traditioneller Schumacher-Hefe perfektioniert.

On tap at Schumacher, pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out a nice toasted caramel malt character, with some dry toffee and light toasted nuttiness. Flavour is dry and malty, with lots of bready malt and dry toasted caramel. Finishes malty and dry, with low bitterness for the style. Clean and rounded. Very good.

Bottle at home, amber beer, small head. Aroma is malt, metallic, caramel. Taste is the same, bitter, metallic, sweet, caramel. Ok

Chestnut/brown colour with a small white head. Aromas of (roasted) malt, bread - taste is somehwat similar. Wellrounded - quite nice.

Tap at Brauerei Schumacher in the city of Düsseldorf. Dark clear copper with a frothy head. Crisp, clean and somewhat smooth tasting alt, some bitterness, with tasty and aromatic malts.

Bottle from Gabriel - Cheers! 🍻🍻 Rocky tan head on a lightly carbonating deep amber coloured body. Spices fruit & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingly finish. Caramel, malt, tea, & demerara tastes with a bitter hoppy finish. Good one.
