Licht troebel lichtbruin bier met veel schuim. Smaak is bitter, droog en fruitig, grapefruit, thee en abrikoos. Licht zoet, smaak is perfect echter helaas iets te weinig body. Etiket is inmiddels gewijzigd.

Pours a slightly hazy dark amber color, topped with a medium sized off-white head. Retention is decent. Malty aroma, grainy, with some mild fruity notes and very gentle pine aroma. Decent hoppy bitterness straight from the start with some yeasty character present. Herbal finish, bitter. Not the best one, but not bad.

Notes from 2012. On tap, somewhere.... Hazy amber color. Big off white head with good lacing. Aroma’s of fresh hops, more aroma- than bitter hops. More bitterness retronasal. Flavor is moderate to full bitter, with some grain/malt as backbone. Medium bodied. Firm bitter finish. Nice!

Thick, stable cream-coloured head over very carbonated amber, UFO-infested beer. Coloured malts, maltsyrup, chestnuts, rather smelling sweet; parsley. Lightly roasted malts, bit neutral flavour, with faint caramel and autumn leaves. Indeed other grain, but difficult to tell rye. Finish is sweet. Rather slick, maybe medium bodied, lively carbonation. Thirteen to the dozen.

Bottle. Pours cloudy darkish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel malt, with notes of hops and fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour with grainy notes and touches of fruit and caramel. Bitterish aftertaste with grainy notes. Clearly a decent example of the style but not a very impressive beer.

Bottle, 5.3%. Nice fruity hop aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Big stable off-white head. The flavour has some of the same notes as the aroma but is more watery. Medium bitterness, perhaps a little high. Clean but a little rough. Good mouthfeel.
