Bottle. Tall Boys, Leeds. Hazy, light amber. Messy, sticky, off white head. Spicy rye. Fusty orange. A bit earthy. Taste is light, spicy bitter. Some fruity sweetness. A bit too much fizz. More of the spiciness on the finish. Ok.

0,33 bottle purchased at Beerville shop in Belgrade-Serbia, consumed in Kosovo. Ciao Vlada! Pours unclear amber color, a bit dar with a tick and big off-white foam. Nose: a bit caramelized with a tart piney astringency. Not pleasant for me, but with a final feeling of sweet fruit. Mouth: frizzy, watery, anonymous and unbalanced. Far from being my cup of tea.

Bottled 330ml. -Hazy golden coloured, medium sized creamy off-white head, hops and caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, notes of hops, rye and honey with mild fruity touch in the finish. A bit too sweet and stale. 5.5%ABV

(Keg at Black Door, 20150919) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, sweetness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, tartness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Afteraste was tart, hoppy and bitter. The tartness surprised but wasn’t displeasing

Rye beer made for the church now used by Jopen, with medium thick, stable, lacing, off-white head and coppery amber colour with a haze of yeast, more cloudy with deposit. Weakish but flawless aroma of brown bread (the rye speaking), fresh toast, orange peel, peach, caramel, iron but in a ’good’, natural way, hints of strawberry and banana. Soft, ’clean’ fruity flavour, starfruit and peach, light citrus peel accent, softish carbonation, toasted maltiness with caramelly touch, ’deep’ and basic rye spiciness, light hoppy, earthy finish, medium bittering. Nothing too ambitious here in terms of flavour, but more than decent, well balanced and very enjoyable nevertheless.
