Bottle on the beach of Zandvoort. Pleasantly bitter, somewhat fruity and quite thicc pale ale, right now feels like the perfect beach beer.

Pours a cloudy brown/copper with a off-white head. Aroma of malt, fruits, herbs, hops and rye. Some pine and pepper. This is somewhat IPA-ish, but the rye is very noticeable. Nice brew, enjoyed it a lot.

Tap at Haarlem Bierfestival: Hazy brown coloured brew with an hoppy bitter taste and a full body due the rye.

0.33 l bottle from 'Plus' (Breskens), bottled in June 2022. Slightly hazy, deep amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, fruity-resiny, slightly malty aroma Ich pine, obviously rye, some mango and a touch of orange jam. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, malty, rather resiny, moderately fruity taste of pine, rye, orange jam, mango and light grapefruit, followed by a short, gently bitter, resiny-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. A Dutch classic I haven't tried yet for several reasons (very good distribution, core range, a steadily growing beer universe), now was the time to give it a go. No disappointment but no surprise either, just a very solid, pleasant old school Rye Pale Ale.

Bottle. Pours amber with a small head. Aroma is rye, hop, pine, herbal. Light to medium body. Flavour is malty, caramel and lots of rye, light bitterness. Fruity, with light citrus and floral notes. An enjoyable pale ale with a delightful rye kick.

Ordentliches Pale Ale, schön abgewogene Mischung aus Frucht und Malz, spritzig, hinten leicht bitter, schon ganz lecker. Außerdem ne schöne Flasche.
