Wieckse Witte is een heerlijk sprankelend witbier, gebrouwen volgens Maastrichtse traditie. In de frisse smaak van Wieckse Witte herken je de zonnige combinatie van sinaasappel met een vleugje koriander. Dat geeft Wieckse Witte haar bekende fruitige afdronk. Het witbier wordt vergist met een speciale bovengist en is niet gefilterd. Daardoor behoudt het zijn karakteristieke lichte en natuurlijke troebeling.

Slight hazy yellow with small white head. Banana, light dugh, coriander, slight grassy and sugary/candy sweetness. Light to medium bodied with slight watery feel. Not bad, but a bit thin and artificial tasting.

Hazy yellow colour, one finger frothy slightly off-white head,recedes quickly. Aroma wheat, yeast, lemon, bit banana, dough, citrus, coriander. Crispy taste, light yeasty sweetness, medium sourness, lemon notes. Medium body, creamy to buttery texture, lively carbonation, sweet ’n sour finish, fresh, a bit spicy.

Tap tasted on 02/05/2014. Very clear colour with small head. Citrus, mostly lemon, on taste and in the aroma. Very light and drinkable white. Little of spicy in the aftertaste. Next one please!

Pours a hazy, pale yellow color with a weak carbonation and two fingers of white foamy head. The aroma is wheaty, slighty yeasty (not nice) along with some fruits to improve the situation. The taste starts sweet and spicy and continues with a bit of yeastiness. Finish is bitter, but another reminder why I don’t really like wheat beers. Not a bad one, just not my style.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, würzig, Koriander, Citrus. Geschmack leich hefig würzig, Citrus, Koriander, leicht fruchtig.

Aroma: Wheat, sitrus, yeast, coriander and fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Average carbonation.

Overall impression: Fresh, tasty and nice. Probably better on tap.
