Kolor mdły i lekko mętny. Na plus można zaliczyć intensywny zapach skórki od pomarańczy.

(on tap) Hazy straw with little head. Aroma of lemon, banana, esters. Light body and light carbonation. Flavour is also lemon and bananas with a hint of spice. Overall it’s pleasant, but light.

On tap somewhere in Groningen. Hazy golden with a white head. Citrus yeast aroma and taste. Short aftertaste. Not bad for a Belgian wit but very boring.

30 cl bottle at Amsterdam Airport, BBE MRT 13
Aoma is sweetish with soapy citrus. Flavour has soapy citrus, biscuits, some orange and hints of hay. A bit on the sweet side but decent.

Tap @ Café ’t Molentje, Amsterdam. Pours opaque pale yellow with big non-lasting head. Aroma is yeast and south-east Asian spices. Taste is light sweet and acidic and faint bitter. Body is watery with soft carbonation. Finish is dry with notes of honeydew melon, banana and faint hints of cloves.

0.33l bottle @ Hotel De Nieuwe Doelen, Middelburg. This is a light cloudy golden orange one with a medium sized dense just off-white head. The aroma is light cardboardy. Not what I expect in a wit. Some light herbal and wheaty tones also, but all in all this does not smell particularly good. It tastes quite alright though. Light wheaty, clear coriander and herbal tones here. Refreshing and almost a bit fruity-sweet as well. Light dry tongue in the aftertaste. 29.05.2012

On tap. Remarkably light, slightly hazy, yellow, with a fingerthick head. Aroma is slight sour almost lemon drop-like citrus, with notes of hay and orange. Light, thin body, with a low carbonation. Flavour is some citrusy hay-ish notes, but mostly toffee malt, biscuits and honey which gives a sweet finish.

A Dutch blonde that is a fine drink in its own right, but doesn’t quite satisfy in its style.
