Heel erg lekker! In de caramel honing en port gedoopt roggebrood! Hmmm. Backlog from 2015/03/29.

330ml bottle. Dark brown color with light beige head. Malty aroma, roasted, caramel, light chocolate, dark dried fruits, vanilla, wood, alcohol. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma, butter and soy sauce notes too. Light to medium almost oily body with flat carbonation. Probably a bad bottle.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown colour, almost no foam. Sweet nose of vanilla. Roasted malts, ashtray. Bit unbalanced. Also some vinous notes. Ok.

Bottle from Planet B, Rotterdam, Netherlands, consumed at Frank (camper) Pickets Lock campsite, Ponders End, Good Friday 3rd April 2015 Really fruity jam like nose, like when you are cooking jam, Loz gets spicy raisins and she is also correct a swirl in the glass and you do get that. Doesn’t taste like an Imperial Stout at all to me, Loz reckons it’s a bit boozy. I like it, but not sure how to categorize it. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Shared bottle. Dark brown with very small light beige head. Marzipan, speculaas, mocca, rye bread, raisins, Porto wine, light yoghurt, light boozy. Quite sweet. Medium bodied with slight sticky feel and low carbonation. Nice stuff, almost more barley wine than imp stout.

Bottle share at Bruce’s birthday drinks craft beer co. Many thanks to Leighton. Caramel brown coloured pour with a fleeting head. Aroma is salty, warming booze, rum barrel, coconut, vanilla. Flavour is composed of plum, caramel, sweet, vanilla, cherry pie, oak, unrefined sugars. Palate is full and semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Umami. Little plastic.
