Ons tarwebier (witbier) of zoals de Duitsers zeggen ‘ein hefe weißen’ is een zeer zacht fruitig bier. Kruidige geuren maar ook een zachte toon van banaan en kruidnagel is herkenbaar in dit type bier. De gist die wij hierin gebruiken is erg belangrijk voor de smaak van onze weizen.

Our wheat beer, or as the Germans would say, “ein Hefeweizen” is a very lightly fruity beer. Spices in the nose but also a soft note of banana and cloves are key characteristics in this style of beer. The type of yeast we use is also essential to our weizen’s particular flavour.

From tap at De Prael Groningen. Aroma is banana, wheat, flavour a little more bitter than a traditional Weizen. Some citrussy notes, light spicy. Medium body. Not bad.

Opalescent pale golden colour, one inch of dense white head; aroma and taste of banana bread, some souris-citric, nutmeg, maybe clove and bready notes; not bad

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een troebel goudgeel bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een gistachtige wat tarwe achtige geur. De smaak is tarwe achtig, gistachtig en wat hints van citrus.

33cl bottle from Brouwerij de Prael in Amsterdam F: medium, white, good retention. C: pale gold, light hazy A: malty, wheat, banana, clove, honey touch, floral. T: medium malty/wheat base, banana, bit clove, spicy, light soapy mouthfeel, bit mineral, medium to high carbonation, ok, enjoyed.

Dorada turbia. Escasa espuma. Cilantro en el aroma, notas citricas y lacteas. En boca es cremosa, muy agradable y bebible, con los tipicos sabores del estilo, citricos, especiad, cilantro sobre todo. Muy bebible
