Dark red/brown colour, beige foam. Nose of smoked malt, some caramel. Nice aroma and taste. A bit watery, but not bad.

Bottle shared at THT, thanks to Bierkoning for the bottle. Hazy brown with beige head. Lots of smoke and bacon, light malts, more smoke, soft herbs, light caramel, light minerals. Light sweet and under medium bitter. Just medium bodied. Not really my thing.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Clear brown with a white head. Smoky aroma with some bacon. Sweet savory, slightly metallic taste. Thin body. Solid gentle rauchbier.

Dark brown with thin head. Aroma is smokey and a bit meaty. Flavour is similar but with a background malt sweetness.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, chestnut colour with small to average, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Beefy, smoky aroma, notes of smoked ham, hints of smoked eel, beech wood ashes. Taste is dry, smoky, minimally peaty, grassy and bitter hoppy overtones, hints of smoked ham. Slightly anaemic, lacks a bit of caramel malt support for a better integration and exposition of the smoky notes. A nice one, though.

Bottle (from het biermoment). Pours dark amber-brown. Aroma is sweet, smoke, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, smoke, malt, bacon, salt. Finish is sweet, smoke and salt. Overall: very nice.

Flesje thuis gedronken. Robijnrood / amberkleurig bier. Stevige licht beige schuimkraag. Aroma deed me even aan een slagerswinkel denken. Dit werd in de smaak duidelijk omdat de rooksmaak heel sterk naar boven komt. Deze rooksmaak blijft best even hangen.

Bottle, courtesy of Benzai during EuroSwap. Looots of smoked bacon, almost like next to a BBQ. Meaty and oily, very nice. Crisp carbonation, easening the greasy feel.

At a tasting, thanks, small stable bubbly head, murky very deep orange to brown color, aroma of smoked cheese with hints of charred wood and a hint of malt behind it, same traits in flavor with the charred wood stronger, light mellow bitterness. Nice and pleasant.
