Cannonball is an India Pale Ale in the true tradition, high in alcohol and massively hopped to survive a long sea voyage. We don’t want you to wait though, take a swig and let the flavour explode on your palate. Tropically fruity, resinous hops compete against a sweet malty backbone, while a rasping bitterness builds to a mouth puckering crescendo. Our hop bomb will blow you out of the water.

Can. Hoppy aroma and taste, citrus fruit, light resin, light sweet notes, medium bitter. Medium to full body, hoppy fruity bitter finish. Good.

Bottle from Dantheman, thanks! Firm hoparoma with grapefruit and pineapple. Oily earthy furiously hopbitter flavor with sharp citrus, peppermint, pineapple and grapefruit notes. Peppermint and oily earthy hops in the long aftertaste.

[33cl can from Tesco, Warfield.] A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a loose cream head; soft tropical fruit aroma; rich buttery body with tropical fruit and some pine resin; and a bittersweet finish with some gentle warmth. Rather disappointing.

Can at home. Has a hazy orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of mango, grapefruit, grass and orange peel. Flavour of mango, grapefruit, oranges, grass, dry hay and pumpkin. Has a soft mouth feel, medium body and light to medium bitterness. Fruity and well-balanced.

Appearance is amber, lots of bubbles rising, a thick 2-3 finger head. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, pineapple, hint of mango, lots of fresh hops. Trace of caramel malt. Taste- fruity hops, pineapple, wheaty malty background, very bitter, tropical fruit juice. Creamy caramel malt. Tasty.

Can from Tesco. Pale gold in colour, with a frothy, white, head. Grassy hops, ripe tropical fruits and tangerines, light, balancing, malts and a lingering, dry, finish. A great beer.
