In samenwerking met onze collega’s van SNAB hebben we een French IPA gebrouwen. Met de Franse hopsoorten Aramis, Triskel en Barbe Rouge. Iedereen kent de fruitige Amerikaanse IPA’s met hun citrusfruitkarakter. Met dit bier willen we laten zien dat ook in andere landen fruitige hop verbouwd wordt. Deze Collaboration Brew won brons in de categorie ‘IPA’ tijdens de World Beer Awards 2015.

Very aromatic and fruity with some mandarin and herbs. The flavour is a bit syrupy but still the fruitiness of the hops remain.

Leicht trübe orangegelbe Farbe, große weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch angenehm grasig hopfig, trocken fruchtig. Geschmack sehr malzig, sehr aromatisch fruchtig hopfig, dezent bitter, lecker!

Tap at Jopenkerk. Pretty orange, hazy, tall fine head. Huge hop and yeast nose, oranges,eaches, mango, passion fruit. Lovely. Light malt. Grassy, herbal. Quite sweet, fruity, stome fruit mainly. Bit oily, smooth. Cannot match the nose, but good.

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange colour with a large white head. Smells hops, floral,grassy,fresh and slightly sweaty. Tastes hops, malts, plastic, sweetish. Thin to medium body, nice crisp carbo.

Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is balanced moderately hoppy and quite floral. Taste lightly malts, floral, floral hops, moderate to firm bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Quite pleasant.

On tap at NHBF’15. Hazy orange colour, off white head. Aroma of weed, grass, more weed, quite pungent. Flavour is soft and sweet, floral, weed, grass, some pine, citrus, hint of caramel, firm bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Nice.

Tap at Jopenkerk. Slight hazy dark golden with white head. Very flowery, perfume, some soap, tropical fruits with mango and pineapple, quite herbal too with herbs de Provence. Medium sweet with light to medium bitterness. Medium bodied. Nice.
