0.33 l bottle from biernavigatie, bottled in March 2015. Minimally hazy, golden orange with a thin, soapy, quickly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-fruity aroma of mango, pear and honey. Sweetish, fruity-malty taste of mango, pear and honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter and smooth finish. Medium body, creamy and smooth mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, very smooth maibock with a rather reserved flavour profile. The rye and the oats add a nice smoothiness and make it easier to drink than conventional examples.

Rake. Keg. Hazy gold beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and with a good minerally crispness. Thin sweetish malts. Mild smoke. Ripe orange and ripe bruised generic fruits. Crisp dry finish. Not bad.
