Dark brown, creamy brown foam that lasts. Mild aroma of grain. Sweet mild raste of grain with growing metaluc in thecaftertaste. High in carbin and a bit soupy.

Hard pour from a widget can into a Guinness pint glass.

Beautiful looking stout, looks black initially but holding it to the light you get shades of transparent ruby red to deep brown. A finger or so of tight tan nitro head persists leaving fairly dense lacing.

Aroma of dark malts, coffee and roast, hints of dark stone fruit and cocoa.

Flavor tends to follow the aroma, slight sweet dark malts, cocoa, cold brew coffee, a bit of ashiness toward the end of the palate.

The mouth feel is exceptional, light to medium light body, very smooth with the nitro playing it's part adding to the smoothness, slight balance from the roast and bittering hops make this one very easy to drink and keeps you coming back for more.

Overall it's a classic for a reason, it's not the best but it's far from the worst, would love to be able to try this on draft from the source some day but it's still one I gladly revisit especially this time of year.
