First rating: Medium white head. Clear amber body. Spicy fresh ginger aroma with vague fruity notes. Dry spicy gingery taste with soapy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, faintly hot mouthfeel. Dryish spicy gingery aftertaste with papery cardamom notes. The basic flavour is really, really close to shop-bought ginger freshly sliced. Nice, drinkable, perhaps a little bit lacking in complexity, but the ginger flavour is well preserved. (0.5l bottle, from Toft Vin, Copenhagen.) 7,4,6,3,13=3.3

Second rating: Big coarseish offwhite head quickly shrinks. Hazy coppery body with strong carbonation. Spicy gingery aroma with sugary notes. Dry spicy gingery taste with herbal notes. Mid-to-thin body. Sharpish, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish spicy ginger aftertaste with mineraly wooden notes. A bit dry and too one-dimensionally gingery, but not bad. (Bottle, 0.5 l. from a supermarket, 20130719) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma was like the one of ginger ale: ginger and sugary sweetness. Palate was medium bodied and bit stingy with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, ginger, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had ginger and bitter. Not my style of beer.

500ml bottle - Pours a light golden hue with a rather small head. No retention or lace. Aromas of orange, mild ginger, and other spices. Taste is citrus, mild zest with notes of ginger. Light caramel, and hints of bread. Light in body, sort of watery to be honest. Not bad, and quite refreshing.

500 ml bottle. Pale, slightly unclear yellow/golden body with moderate sized off-white head. Aroma is totally dominated by ginger. Flavor is sweet with lots of ginger, not room for much more here. I really like the flavor of ginger, but this is simply to one-dimensional.
