We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply kick back, relax and oil your neck with (the name Neck Oil come’s from our founder, Logan, fondly remembering his Grandad stating that he was “off down the pub for a pint of neck oil”). Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly ‘easy’ IPA.

0,33L can (from Koht, Tallinn). Pours hazy yellow with white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sour, citrus, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, citrus. Overall: well made and doesn’t feel watery, but has the APA aspects I really dislike.

Hazy pale golden colour, small but dense frothy white head, diminishes slowly, good lacing. Fruity aroma, lemon, grapefruit, peach, candy sugar, bit biscuit, pine, floral. Taste medium bitter and sweet, fruity, citrusy. Medium body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation mild bittersweet finish, spicy notes. Very refreshing, very quenching and very session.

American style ISA made in England, can from the Bierkoning in Amsterdam. Thick, creamy, sticky, yellowish white head, hazy golden blonde colour with somewhat greenish hue. Lovely spicy hops aroma of pine needle, lemon peel, hemp, straw, hay, green apple; crisp and vivid onset, green apple peel, spritzy and grainy with a light honeyish malt sweetness hidden inside; hayish, resiny, floral and piney hops in the finish, very long, dry with a refreshing hint of lime peel, bittering and utterly quenching. Exemplary for the style.
