We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply kick back, relax and oil your neck with (the name Neck Oil come’s from our founder, Logan, fondly remembering his Grandad stating that he was “off down the pub for a pint of neck oil”). Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly ‘easy’ IPA.

Was watching Roald Dahl's Esio Trot and being set in the UK it set me thinking I should pair it with a British beer so cracked open my Beavertown Neck Oil Session IPA.  A remarkably crystal clear gold with soapy white lacing. It has a wonderful hop bouquet a great amalgam of bright fresh pine needles & fruity citrus.  Light zesty body & carbonation. The taste is a bit of crackery light malts, sweet fruitiness and bitting pine. Very crisp & refreshing.  ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Burk från Ales by mail. Lätt och torr, citruszestig, citronskal, citronjuice, markerad skalbeska som är aningen kantig. Trevlig

Can. Pours light golden, plenty of carbonation, a 2-finger white head. Aroma- creamy malt, orange, pineapple, hop resin, pine needles. Taste- hop bitterness, creamy malt, some breadiness, pineapple and orange juices, understated and slightly bitter finish. Good session IPA.

From a can at the Bevog 2nd anniversary party. Pours a slighty hazy straw yellow color, topped with a medium sized white frothy head. Ok retention. Very nice fruity aroma, tropical with peaches and others. Mildly fruity and sweet start, a bit citrusy with gentle final bitterness. Easily drinkable and enjoyable. Just great.

Can, thanks SirLimpsalot. Almost clear golden with a white head. Mild with hay, some citrus and malt. Medium bitter and with a fairly light mouthfeel.

Can (Firmabier)
Yellow color, huge cloudy white head, lace (started clear, with the bottom part of the can, it was hazy). Grass and citrus in the nose. Light-bodied. Pine needle-resiny flavor with light pineapple fruity notes. A bit watery, easy going, simple summer drink. Kinda liked it anyhow.

330ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Piney hoppy aroma, notes of pineapple, additionally some unspecific citrusy hoppy flavours. Taste delivers identical, fully lasting flavours, no abatement of intensity in the finish. Very nice.
