We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply kick back, relax and oil your neck with (the name Neck Oil come’s from our founder, Logan, fondly remembering his Grandad stating that he was “off down the pub for a pint of neck oil”). Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly ‘easy’ IPA.

Hazy yellow beer, white head. Bitter, lemony aroma. Flavour is dry, citrusy hop. There’s a grassy hint to it as well. Mellows out a bit and balances with some sweetness in the aftertaste. Crisp, refreshing, very guzzle-able.

Can from Beers’n’more. Indeed a sessionable version of the IPAs from Beavertown. Very present backbone, some citric and earthy hops. Good mouthfeel, solid beer. Rather too soft carbonation, though.

Keg @ Drink? Hebden Bridge. Yellow with a small head. Hoppy-sweet with citrus lemon flavours. Revisited this beer in 2024 with no real difference to report.

Can from Oddbins Beer Shop, Blackheath. Hazy gold pour with a white head. Tangerine, peach and mango aroma. Nice bitter/sweet fruit balance in the flavour. Quite a refreshing number. Good stuff.

Can thanks to secret Santa! Pours quite hazy pale golden, large fluffy white head, good lacing. Aroma is grassy, grapefruit. Flavor follows, very light sweet, light bitter, citrus and grass, a bit of orange. Light body, high carbonation. Hint of bread on the finish.

Keg at Druid Street. Nose is Mosaic hops, tropical fruit, dankness. A bit sweet, with peach and mango flavors. Creamy, smooth palate. Nice.
