We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply kick back, relax and oil your neck with (the name Neck Oil come’s from our founder, Logan, fondly remembering his Grandad stating that he was “off down the pub for a pint of neck oil”). Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly ‘easy’ IPA.

Taste of green organics, a little weed, a touch of vauge hop burn. The malt is very dry and light. Passible.

On tap at Criterion. Pours a clear gold, small head. Aroma is fruity, lightly hoppy, malt. Light body. Flavour is malty, quite sweet, light bitterness. Nice, very drinkable.

Was etwas schade ist.

Can, 0.33l. Aroma of overripe tropical fruit, melon, pine, hint of a durian and biscuit. Pours clear pale golden color with medium sized frothy white head and soft visible carbonation. Taste starts juicy overripe citrusy and faint tropical fruity, following is grainy, grassy and floral, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is moderate bitter. Light to medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Not so very tasty…

Fresh lemon grapefruit with an earthy undertone. Its light but very drinkable. Could use a bit more malt body for me.
