We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply kick back, relax and oil your neck with (the name Neck Oil come’s from our founder, Logan, fondly remembering his Grandad stating that he was “off down the pub for a pint of neck oil”). Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly ‘easy’ IPA.

On tap .

Pint at The Beer House, Cardiff Airport. A crystal clear golden pour, super-bubbly, with a foamy thin snow-white head. Aroma is clearly IPA-esque: dandelion, arugula, grass, pine needle... Every bitter in the open. Dry, slick yet refreshing, medium-bodied and veeeery bitter. Nonetheless, the finish is not even close to what you'd expect, rather it fades away as soon you swallow your sip. Strange.

Draught: Poured a clear golden color ale with a medium size foamy head. Aroma of light dry bitter hops notes. Taste is also a mix of dry bitter and citrusy hops notes with some light cereal notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Enjoyable bitter IPA with limited complexity.
