Hofgut Hopfenburg, camping in Schwäbische Alb. Lekker moutig zachte pils, melkachtig, kruidig met vleugje honingzoetheid. Dit zou uit de kraan moeten komen!. Bottle shared by Sjogro. Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, light honey, cardboard, light warm milk notes, herbal, quite flowery and some fresh grass. Taste is medium sweet with soft bitter finish. Under medium bodied with soft carbonation and slight chalky feel in the finish. Pleasant and drinkable.

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly unclear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Grassy hops with slightly perfumed pale malty notes. Sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. A bit sugary pale malt-character with light grassy hops in the background; sweetish malty and grassy hop bitter finish. Rather mediocre brew. 16.IX.09

Bottle (Vielen Dank, Mr.3000!) Pale golden, small white lacy head; grassy, papery nose with sweet grains in the background; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; moderate sweet-bitter finish. A bit disappointing.......
