Nach unserem Weiherer Zwickerla Hell kommt nun auch die dunkle Variante in die Flasche - bernsteinfarben, unfiltriert, mit festem, cremigen Schaum. Gebraut hat Roland Kundmüller ausschließlich mit ausgesuchten Rohstoffen aus 100 Prozent biologischem Anbau. Das Weiherer Bio-Zwickerla Dunkel ist ein Bier für alle, die es naturtrüb, malzbetont und süffig mögen - ein charakterstarkes Fränkisch Dunkel.

Bottle @ tasting shared with TomHendriksen and Inoven. Clear amber-ish color, small to average sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, a bit dull, a bit bready, herbal, slightly caramel. Average body at best, average carbonation. Meh, don't like it.

Euro-Fläschla: Hazy, amber coloured, medium-sized and slowly collapsing creamy off-white head, mild toasty nose with fruity-yeasty and herbal hoppy traces; mild sweetish-bitter flavour, nearly medium bodied; slightly lingering fruity-yeasty finish with malty and herbal-hoppy traces. Not really bad, but quite poor by franconian standards...

7 3 7 3 14 Bottle at Proeflokaal ’t Kelkje, Amsterdam. Clear amber to light brown with an off white head. Aroma of caramel, nutty notes, earthy and light fruity. Taste is light moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter. Light O medium bodied with light carbonation.

(bottle) Hazy, amber to copper colour with a beige and firm mid-sized foamy head. Moderately toasted malty aroma with a vaguely dusty touch and distinctive notes of caramel, also shades of herbal-spicy hops in the background. Sweet-bitter flavour, surprisingly light bodied with a calm carbonation. Mildly toasted malt character with caramel, subtle berry fruits and traces of herbal hoppy spice; slim and mildly toast-malty, even a bit chalky, mineralic finish with hints of caramel. Not the best brew by Kundmüller, nevertheless a drinkable Dunkel for the summer time. 05.VII.17

Bottle 500ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Weiherer Bio Zwickerla Dunkel ].[ Courtesy of æHD’er ]. Clear medium to dark amber colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, caramel, sweet malt, fruity malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, grain, fruity malt. Kupferrotbraun im Glas, feinporiger Schaum. In der Nase Karamell. Setzt sich deutlicher im Trunk fort. Mittig tolle Malznoten, hinten Keks und nicht im Geringsten bitter. Vielleicht etwas wässrig, dafür aber supersüffig. Geht runter wie nix.
