8 Ball - Big, Bold & Ballsy
One of our earliest recipes, we wanted to push this big IPA all the way. So we packed it full of Rye and dry hopped it for days with American hops, using old pool balls to weigh the hop sack down in the beer. Hence the name.
Go ahead and sink a few, be rude not to really

23.01.2015, 0,33l can @ home:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry foresty, pine needles, bark, rubber, moss, soil, lawn, hops, leafs, rye bread. Taste is slighty harsh foresty, bark, pine needles, soil, moss, hops, soap, leafs, lawn, light malts. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly dry harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Can, bb 3/15. Amber with a pale beige head. Aroma of sweet, earthy spiced bread, some pine, a little grapefruit. Faded? But the grapefruit and resin are more prominent in the taste, which is bready, spicy and fairly bitter. Considerably less sweet than suggested by the aroma and quite dry at the end too.

Can, 6.2%. Good fruity and rough hop aroma. Cloudy dark grey amber colour. Very big stable rocky white head. The flavour is nicely bitter with a good barnyard note. Not dry, has a good maltiness.

Can @ Hoppy Advent Race in Space, Sønderborg. Pours hazy amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, with notes of citrus and fruit and touches of malt. Bitter, hoppy flavour with citric and malty notes and touches of yeast. Bitter aftertaste with hints of malt and citrus. Well balanced and quite enjoyable.
