Broeders is a fresh blond wheat beer with character, through the use of wheat malt and German floral hops. A wonderfully fresh, well-hopped thirst quencher.

Can, thx Motelpogo! Hazy golden body, thick white head. Looking fine! Malty, grainy, earthy aroma, with light fruity maltiness. Lean, creamy taste, woody, peachy, a bit weird in the finish. Eh, ok?

Blonde ale by this popular Dutch brewery, thanks to my girlfriend Goedele for the can! Thick and frothy, snow white, stable and dense, but eventually slowly opening head, initially clear ‘old gold’ robe, misty and deeper apricot-hued with sediment. Aroma of field flowers, unripe peach, freshly cut grass, raw cereals, white bread crust, plaster, ferrous spring water. Clean onset, unripe pear and banana peel notes but low in sweetness, lively carbonation, slick body; thinnish cereally and grainy pale maltiness, very lightly sweetish on top, ending with a grassy and weedy hoppiness, adding impressions of withering leek, dried flowers and wormwood, long and consistently bitter. Feels and tastes like a bitter Belgian blonde with a touch of postmodern hopping – if APA was the intention, then this is definitely lacking in New World hop aromas, but it does qualify as a contemporary ‘crafty’ everyday quencher.
