Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Six pack at home. Ticks will be hard to score with current pandemic. Light rosy orange and a frothy head. Nose is grapefruit and some pine. Tastes of ruby red grapefruit, some pith, pine, candy. Light bitterness. Easy drinking

I've gone a long time without trying Grapefruit Sculpin, there were always six packs but I was looking for a single. A 12 oz can showed up at the local HEB a few days ago. So here we go. Bottom of the can says it was packaged on 9/30/19. I'm using my chilled-off Buffalo Bayou snifter to make the sampling, I see a clear, orangey, mostly yellow liquid with a nice snow white head. The smell is pine and citrus, no surprise for this. And the drink, firmly hoppy and bitter starting, pine needles and just a hint of grapefruit. Too bad, I would have appreciated more. Crisp, refreshing. A decidedly West Coast IPA and that is not bad.

Bottle from Toyko Liquor Land. Aroma is grapefruit, juicy, bit of pine. Very fresh and very nice. Taste is great too. Initial burst of fruit and bitterness, but as it warms you get a bit more of the malt coming through. Good stuff.

Pours amber with a thick white head. Aroma of citrus and pine. Taste has light resin and hops, citrus elements. Palate is citrus filled, lots of pine resin. Pretty good.
