Our Grapefruit Sculpin is the latest take on our signature IPA. Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Lata 33 CL en Munchen Valladolid 12..02..2019 Color dorado anaranjado transparente con buena capa de espuma blanca persistente. Sabores bastante intensos con cereales y lupulos algo maduros suavemente resinosos al final todo ello con una buena dosis de afrutados uvas y zumo de uva que se hace bastante apreciable desde principio a fin. Cuerpo medio con bastante sabor, suave, fácil de beber, fina en boca. Suave amargo final resinosos afrutado. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna. Toda una ipa tradicional con el añadido de uvas como originalidad.

Color anaranjado, cristalino con espauma blanca de buena duración y algo de encaje. Aroma con buena presencia a cáscara de pomelo y naranja con toquets resinosos. Sabor con amargor decente, frutal con predominio al pomelo. Final resonoso y amargo que recuerda a una IPA west coast que tanto se añoran. Muy buena.

After having the regular Sculpin a few weeks back, was nice to find this one at the LCBO in bottles. Pours a lightly-hazed golden colour with a slight orange hue. Big frothy off-white head with good retention and lots of creamy-foamy lacing. Loads of citrus notes from the hops in the nose, especially the grapefruit - in juice and peel. This zest is dominant in the taste with big dryness and bitterness. Wish this was a little juicer with the grapefruit over the peel. Preferred the original version.

Draught @ Taphouse, New Jersey City. Pours golden with an offwhite head. Aroma of malt, fruity hops, bitter citrus, grapefruit + peel. Flavor is light bitter, malt, grassy, fruity, grapefruit. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 230418

Can from a Trader Joes. Deep gold in colour, with a slight, white, head and moderate carbonation. Big citrus hop character, complemented by some sharp grapefruit juice, crisp, biscuity, malts and a touch of green herb. The finish was long and pleasantly dry. Excellent.
