Inspired by the wild beauty of west coast of Latvia. This malty beer with deep amber color and a warm autumn aroma is brewed with heather and wild thyme - typical vegetation of those parts, as well as a bit of Sladek hops for balance.

Reasonably dry, very herbal. Thyme, maybe rosemary? It tastes like marinade for lamb chops, which is a good thing.

Draught @ TCBW 2015
Pours reddish orange with a foamy head. Aroma of spices, floral notes, berries, yeast and earthiness. Taste is sweetish, spicy and malty with some earthiness, berries and yeasty notes. Finish is sweetish, malty and spicy. A bit messy.

Aroma has apricot, ripe fruits and mild floral tones. Flavour has floral tones, apricot, some butter and grainy malt. Not sure what the target was but result is a floral belgian ale. Smooth and creamy.

330ml tap@Labietis, Riga 20.12.14 Dark amber body, no head and no lacing. Wet moss, wood, pine, flowers, thyme and crowberries. Very interesting, but thin body- almost watery and also a bit too flat. I would have this with food: maybe soup or chicken?
