Marketed in the US as Tropic Punch.
Tropic Thunder is a joint effort with nomadic brewer Brian Strumke of Stillwater Artisanal. We brewed this sour ale with lactobacillus and let it ferment with plentiful mango, passion fruit and peach. Sweet!
There's a simple and straight forward story to this not so simple and straight forward beer. The idea was that we wanted to make a beer that tastes like a popsicle. A beer as refreshing as those ice cold, fruity treats we loved as kids. And you know what, we succeeded!

0,33l bottle from K-Supermarket Lasihytti. BBE 25.02.2022. Hazy yellow beer with small head. Aroma has lot of fresh tropic fruits; orange, pineapple, sweet malts. Flavor has also some sweetness and exotic fruits, but more citrus notes and also some tart elements. Medium body, fresh and fruity, nice one.

Flat, no head. Deep yellow color, tropical fruit on the nose. Tart, some sourness, fruity and acidic. Peach and mango, very fresh and although not apparently in it, seems like a bit salty. Balances the sweetness nicely anyway. Good stuff.

Bottle. A- Mango, peach, passion fruit, juicy. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Mild sourness, mango, peach, passion fruit, juicy, gummy bears. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, refreshing finish. O- Drank as Tropic Punch Ale on label. Wow this is great! Well balanced sour with loads of all fruits listed probably in the order they are shown. Mild tartness and super refreshing. This is dangerously chuggable as a summer session. I tried to make it last and I think I managed to get 5 minutes out of it before it was gone. Would love to have some of this around at all times in the summer.

(Bottle) Golden colour, slightly hazy, with brief white head. Fruity nose with passion-fruit, mango, peaches, citrus and candy. Fruity, tart taste with notes of passion-fruit, mango, peaches and lemon. Medium body, dry. No evident bitterness. Tasty and refreshing, but with a certain alcopop character. Quite nice.
