Draught. This might be the smokiest rauchbier ever. Pours a dark red and smells like - smoke. Rerate. Liked it much better in 2011

Lett uklar koparbrun, kvitt lågt skum. Aroma av spekeskinke, eldhus og brøskorpe. Fruktig smak, appelsin og karamell, umami, røykjekjøt.

Bottle. Medium amberish copper color with a small head. Really nice smoked flavor better than most smoked beers. Taste is wonderfully smooth and mild but still great smoked flavor

Bottled. Pours dark ruby colour with quickly disappearing head. Prominent smoky and slighter sweet notes in aroma and taste with sweet finish. Not too heavy bodied yet isn’t that easily drinkable, softly carbonated. A beer to my liking.

07/2022 Aromat niewyraźny trochę taki przyprawowy, słodowy Beżowa piana, długo się utrzymuje, kolor mocnej herbaty, klarowne. Smak słodowy, melanoidyny, ciemne pieczywo. Słodkie dość, gorzkie średnio. Ciało średnie, gładkie, nagazowanie średnie, finisz mało wyraźny, alkohol niewyczuwalny. Ogólnie piwo jak piwo mocny lagier, piłem lepsze koźlaki, ale on nie jest zły

Man i love the beers from this brewery. Its like liquid bread! Deep amber pour, with an intoxicating aroma of sweet bready malts. Touches of sugar and smoke mingle amongst the great malts. A real treat! Sweet malty finish with a great bacon, sausage kick. Incredible beer!

Aroma of sweet malts, smoked bacon, charred wood, smoked ham. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light bitter finish. This is like drinking smoked pork straight from the barbecue.

Как и ожидалось аромат очень копченый, но не концентрированный, много дымки а также намеки на хлеб и карамель. Пенка средняя а вот цвет темно янтарный и глубокий, манящий конечно но. Вкус на удивление весьма питкий, дикие 8 градусов не ощущаются от слова вообще. От дуппель бока нету тоже почти не следа, только легкая карамельная нотка которая полностью поглощена солодом и копченостью. Хотя при глотке она тоже не особо сильная и приятная, и даже не напоминает рыбу. Наверно и есть намеки на хлеб но тоже под нежныи слоем копчености. В целом один из лучших копченых пивасов что пробовал.

Bottle 0,5ltr: Clear brown coloured brew, with an great smoked ham-like smell. The smokey taste is not so intense as the lower in alcohol beers of this legendary brewery.
