0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeers', 10.0% abv, best before November 2026. Hazy, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, marzipan, cocoa, clove and raisins. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly roasty, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of caramel, cocoa, marzipan, clove, nutmeg and some raisins, followed by a medium long, gently bitter, slightly roasty, moderately dry finish. Medium body, quite effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid ale but I prefer 'Saxo'. At 10%, it's quite monotonous and bland.

Bottled. Mahogany color with a medium to moderate head. Aroma and taste are dominated by sweetness/brown sugary yeasty malty fruitiness. Liked it quite a bit.

In my opinion, it is a wonderful beer, plenty of malt and plums like the orchard, bready, some hop, alcool but it is well balanced, next. 07.12.2017, drinking it at the ex Pibar, Lausanne, sharing it with Raoul probably.

Bottle at Cafe Volo.
Very dark ruby color, huge beige head, wicked lacing, retention is very long lasting. Well 1st thing, the alcohol is present in the aroma, but its not overpowering, i’m also getting lots of ripe fruit, brown sugar, and slight yeasty notes. Flavour is much of the same, ripe fruit, and carmael, with the alcohol warming your throat as it goes down. Finish is very smooth, and blanced, not much bitterness, but the malt comes through. Very nice stuff.

Волшебный Бельгийский Эль. С виду имеет темно карамельный цвет. Кремовая пена не спадает даже после 15 минут. Вкус безумно мягкий, карамельно фруктовый с привкусом шоколада. Алкоголь практически не чувствуется.

Bottle from Beers of Europe at 10.2%. Pours a murky brown with small off-white head, . Aroma of caramel, malts, touch of brown bread and fig. Taste of caramel, chocolate, raisin and berry, some coffee roastiness, light flora. Mid+ bodied, high fine carbonation. Very tasty.
