nem érzdőik rajta 6,5% alkohol, könnyed, nem annyira kolbászos, mégis füstős Revisited: habja íze durván zsír. Testes mégis könnyen iható, zseniális.

From the bottle. Brown with a frothy beige head. The aroma is full of the same intense wood smoke notes that seem to come with all Schlenkerla brews. Accompanyment is a milder note of caramel. Taste is bittersweet, full of charred wood, salami, tobacco. Body is medium to full, oily, carbonation is soft. Actually there’s not a great deal of complexity compared to some bocks. Missing completely for example are any notes of berries or dark fruits. I’m not sure what exactly it is that keeps drawing me back to Schlenkerla brews but there are always some in my cellar and this will not be an exception. As usual, a true pleasure to drink.

Bottle. Color: Dark reddish brown, creme head, nice lacing. Aroma: Malty, smoked meat. Taste: Dark malt, caramel, sugar, smoked malt and smoked meat. Moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitter. Hints of ash and liquorice, mostly at finish. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice one.

Smoky nose with that almost-soapy Tang like an Islay whisky. Big foamy head and dark brown, almost Porter color. Sweet and smoky flavor with coffee roast notes. Less overwhelming smoke than their standard Märzen. What a great beer, went especially well with grilled burgers just now!

I hate rauchbier but it's a style now so gotta cash in that badge. Nose is always massively set to udderly destroy any vegans with a scent of smoked pork that probably used to also smoke a pack of cigarettes a day before it was turned into bacon. Taste ok

Draft at Ranzani 13, Bologna, Italy. Pours a beautiful reddish brown, with a good head of cream coloured foam, fine. Aroma is a wonderful mix of malty and smoked. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste enters nicely sweet, coming out with some bitterness from smoking afterwards. Finish is average in length but very pleasant in the mouth.

Like drinking a campfire in October. Caramel malts with a slight pumpernickel breadiness and hints of apple set against a greasy, smoke-laden back end accented by light floral hops and a salty-sweet undertone. Creamy, oily texture goes down easy; nose is smoke and toffee. Pours a beautiful burnt brown with an endless beige head and massive lacing. Awesome pint.

Dark brown color, with a yellowish head, going quite fast. Aroma is sourish, leather, smoked bacon/ham, very intense and nice.Taste is malty, ash/cigar notes, sweeter rather than bitter, smoky but maybe less than the Marzen. Oily texture, full, chewy mouthfeel. Great.
