Bottle@Jespers - golden pour with white head. Straw, hay, floral notes, some yeasty notes, sweet malty, some apricot, lemon, medium body, touch of citric spice into the finish.

Bottle, medium stable bubbly fluffy head, quite hazy deepish yellow color, yeasty mineral aroma with a fruity hint, fruity yeasty flavor with a citrusy hint, quite sweet but not too heavy. Nice.

An Eingenlob mangelt es der Brauerei wirklich nicht -allerdings machen das alle Brauereien, die irgendwann einmal irgendeinen Award gewonnen haben -und sei es den Wirtshausaward als bestes Bier zum Kotzen im Wirtshaus Zum betrunkenen Matrosen in Oberpullerberg. Man bekommt ein gut komponiertes, aber doch recht normales belgisches Strong Ale mit den bekannten Aromen nach Lebkuchen, Anis und Dörrobst. Wirklich gutes Bierchen, aber halt kein World best beer.
