0.33 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before April 2020. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly floral and a little grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some caramel and hints of straw. Slightly sweet, quite malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral taste of grains, some caramel, a touch of honey and traces of straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter, rather grainy and a bit grassy-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid interpretation of a classic Export, not bad.

Flasche: Golden with an orangey sheen, slowly collapsing white head, moderate sweetish-bitter grainy-dusty and bitter nose, certain fruity traces underneath; moderate - but crunchy - bitter-sweet flavour, nearly medium-bodied; bisquity traces in the slightly lingering sweet-bitter finish. A simple, but well drinkable Export…
