16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Dark, clear golden, small, tight, frothy head. Aroma offers a nice blend of caramel malts and hops. Taste is also a throwback to a simpler IPA, sweet caramelly notes followed by a nice hoppy buzz that lingers and actually grows a bit in the gullet. Surprisingly smooth for a 9% beer.

Clear coppery body, thick, puffy cream head. Nose the classic triad of citrus, pine, and toasty malts. Toasty-sweet body with big pine and citrus rind, balanced by leafy notes and hints of warming alcohol. Not too sweet or dry, with a firm yet restrained bitter finish. Clean and efficient.

Kind of a blend between old and new east and west styles IPA. Great balance between bitter, sweet, and carbonation with sweet intro and slightly bitter finish. Perfect body and good drinking. A bit punchy. Good stuff.

4 pack at home. Amber orange fairly large head. Nose is grapefruit and some red fruits. Tastes of grapefruit, pine, resin, green vegetables, malty, some fruit punch. Touch old school DIPA. Smooth and chewy.

Very old-school DIPA, heavy on the caramel malt and orange, underlined by thick veins of resin and pine. Grapefruit pith, wood shavings, and a little tropical note peek through on the back end. Not a trace of the ABV, and the chewy feel makes for a hearty pint, but this pint ultimately seems a bit antiquated.

Canned February 22nd 2021.

Pours a slightly hazy gold with an impressive head of foam. That's with a fairly gentle pour.

The smell is dank with tropical fruit, has aboot an equal bitter sweet thing going on.

Bitter sweet it is. Tropical fruit, grapefruit, really sweet malt, dank, almost overwhelming flavours along with a rather strong alcohol kick. 16 ounces, eh? Gonna be a chore.

Full bodied with the beer sticky on my tongue.

Ok. This is the type of Imperial IPA that I do not fancy so much.

Copper pour. The aroma is full of resinous hops with some citrus. The aggressively bitter, hop heavy flavor has pine and citrus with a solid malt backbone. This is a delicious IIPA.
