A Loerik is a blend of Lambics intented to be Gueuze.
However, for some reason, the beer takes more than it's time to end his fermentation.
When we make a Gueuze blend the beer needs months before it is ready for sale.
For the Loerik, the fermentation is going so slowly that years are
necessary to obtain the same result.
We can't explain why and, naturally, we can't produce intentionaly such a beer. A Loerik is always the result of a coincidence with a beautiful result at the end!

Bottle at BBT 12/2023. Thin body, basically no carbonation. Tasty though, got the classic Cantillon basementy wild barnyard character. Light tartness, light bitterness, light sourness. Overall rather light, but easy drinking, tasty and good.
