Light oak but that's pretty much the extent of the character here. Overhyped like Diddy. Dark maroon pour with ok head. Tangy sour finish. Tap at The Source.

75 bottle, celebrating bitcoin above 4000 usd clear brown, smooth light brown head. nutty malty and sour aroma, somewhat complex also notes of wood. aroma is very nicely clean and hints of a great sour brown (or sour red, i’m not super good at telling these apart from the aroma, to amateur me they are sort of the same) flavor is quite tart and sour, much less salad dressing and much more citrus and lambic like sourness, very refreshing, clearly an improvement on the sour red and sour brown style of beers, i really, really like this one. clearly a new style favorite for me. man, i have to buy at least one more of these. Crooked stave did it again, great brew. the 3.8 i give it is too low, but this is how i feel about the individual scores, in my head it’s more like a 4.1 or 4.2

Draft. A brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits and a bit of spice. The flavor is acidic with notes of fruits, wood, and alcohol, leading to a tart finish.

Pours deep ruby tinged mahogany into a snifter. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet cherry and oak aromas. Tart with cherry and red grape upfront turning to dry oak in the lasting finish.
