Swing top bottle 50 cl. Pours golden with tiny impurities and a fizzy, quickly dissipating, white head. Clean, malty nose. Rich, malty body, faint floral hops and a very subdued bitterness. Pleasant drinking. 040225

On tap at Ganter Brauereiausschank Freiburg and many of swing top bottles from Edeka Rees Freiburg. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, grainy nose. Sweetish malty, grainy, light fruity and touch of cereals with dry bitterish finish.

Draught at Landgasthof Frohe Einker, Freiburg im Breisgau. Pours clear lightish golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of yeast, with botes of malt and mild touches of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour with notes of yeast and touches of malt. Papery aftertaste with acidic and estery notes. Acceptabæe.

50cl swing top bottle from a trade with Mariusz, thanks! A clear golden beer with a white head. Aroma of mild grainy pale malt and straw. Taste of pale grainy malt, straw, some cereals, moderate bitterness.

Bügel-Fläschle (Dank am See!): Pale golden, a bit unclear, medium-sized and stable white head, mild sweetish bitter nose of dusty grains with traces of cooked vegetables and glue; mild bitter-sweet flavour, pretty light bodied; short bitter-tart and glue finish. Not totally convincing...

Thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry. Light sourish notes, grasy hints. Okay.

bottle from the brewery. Clear golden colour, tall head leaving lacework. Very pleasant malty nose. Light-bodied lager, pleasantly malty, low bitterness but not boring at all. Subtle resiny hoppy hints, a subtle hint of grains. Not a bold beer, but a classic and well crafted pale lager.
