Draught @ Lowenbrau, Rome. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain, light sourness, hay. Flavor is malt, grain, little sour, hay, grass. Medium body, soft carbonation. Not totally of, but not fresh either. 080414

Appearance: Clear golden color with a thin white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: A bit sweet malty.
Palate: Medium body. Moderate sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Dominating malt base. Some hoppy notes. Also a bit citric. No disturbing alcohol.
Overall impression: Easy drinkable and ok bock.

Draught (as St. Thomas Bock, 6.8 %). Deep golden colour with mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is swweet malts along with grass, herbs and some mild alcohol. Flavour is caramel malts, bready notes as well as some mild herbal, earthy and mildly grassy notes.

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki) Poured pale golden and clear with medium sized, white and quickly disappearing head. Aroma was quite mild and contained sweetness and grass. Palate was quite light and dry with low carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, fruitiness, bitterness, hint of alcohol and "Belgianess". Aftertaste was bitter.
