Deze mooie Alkmaarse blondine is een herinnering aan het Alkmaars Ontzet, het begin van het eind van de Tachtigjarige Oorlog. Het Spaanse leger moest de belegering van Alkmaar opgeven, nadat Willem van Oranje opdracht had gegeven de dijken rond Alkmaar door te steken. Een beleg waarvoor Limmen volgens de tactiek van de verschroeide aarde is opgegeven aan de Spanjaarden. Alles van economische waarde werd er vernietigd. Een herinnering aan dit keerpunt in de geschiedenis met in Limmen gebrouwen weibier, speciaal voor kaasstad Alkmaar en omgeving.

Bottle @ tasting at TomHendriksen. Thanks for sharing. Hazy light orange color, medium sized fizzy white to off-white head that diminishes quickly. Smell and taste malts, wheat, coriander, herbs or spices, sweetness. Too high carbonation, average body. Bleh, too herbal.

330ml bottle at Proeflokaal De Boom, Alkmaar - Hazy yellow body, uncontrollable white head. Nose fresh herbs, citrus, spruce and a bit of a flowery note. Taste big and robust, pleasant finish too.

Bottle shared. Hazy amber with a big off white head. Aroma of herbs, yeast fruits, citrus and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle @ Boom Alkmaar. Thick creamy white head. Cloudy blond pour. Refreshing.
