(Bottle) Dark reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Fruity nose with cherries, red apples, blood orange, wood, hazelnuts and spices. Fruity, tart taste with notes of cherries, oak wood, blood orange, spices, a touch of marzipan and a mild touch of balsamic vinegar in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a milder acidity than the Grand Cru, but a refreshing cherry character. Lovely beer.

33 cl bottle from Labirratorium, stated as 5,6%, BB 14/08/23, served in a gorgeous Villeroy & Boch long-stemmed flute, as if it were a pink champagne (which it resembles.) A copper to vermillion clean pour with a pinkish foamy head, almost no retention, that leaves but a ring. Little to no lacing. Very intense nose, reminiscent of what it promises: sour and Morello cherries, along with bubblegum, wild yeast, hay, earth, a little clay, subtle leather... Dry, very dry; but not bone-dry. Tart and tangy, but not as light-bodied as I expected. Slick, mouth-covering, leading to more tartness and a slight but noticeable bitterness as it approaches the throat. Very long-lasting aftertaste, with renewed tinges of cherries and a new note of strawberry, all having a dialogue with a tad of reddish soil after the rain. Boy, is this delicious!

Murky brown with a medium sized creamy tan head. Tart and tangy with notes of cherry, wood and soy sauce. Very long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Thanks Brian really juicy, not very tart, full of flavor. Trying to find the oak but I could drink this all day.

330ml bottle – Pours a clear red amber colour with a small beige head that settled. A rich vinous fruity aroma, cherries, sweet caramel and tannins. A moderately sweet and light fruity sour taste, cherry and caramelised sugary flavours with a light tart sour and woody finish.

[bbd 8/23]. Intense sour and sweet nose. Clear brilliant redbrown colour, small fizzy off-white head, mostly diminishing, thin layer remains, light lacing. Rich sour aroma, cherries, raspberries, wood, oak, almond, marzipan, balsamico. Fruity taste, medium sweet and sour, cherries, raspberries, marzipan, some tart, sticky yet dry mouthfeel. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation, lingering fruity sweet and sour aftertaste, vinous notes, cherries and wood notes all the way. Outstanding.
