Malt beverage aged in bourbon barrels with vanilla.
We take a big American stout and stuff it into a bourbon barrel where is lays dormant until it is ready to meld itself with vanilla and blossom into it’s own creation. Enjoy!

Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a pitch black with a finger of beige head that dissipates. Lots of coffee, dark roasted malt and rich cacao nib notes...and of course bourbon on the nose. More chocolate on the palate with lots of bourbon. Thin on the palate without much vanilla character. --- Beer merged from original tick of Vanilla Bean Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged on 22 Oct 2018 at 13:54 - Score: 7

I don't know what happened here because this Brewery generally has such great Stouts and Imperial Stouts. But everything is out of whack not quite balanced. Not a bad beer just not up to their usual standards
