This brew was infused with 5gr/l American heavy/French medium oak (50%50%) for two weeks at 10C.
A brew that combines a bitter dark export stout with the loveliness of oak! Pours almost black with small light brown head. Aroma is straight forward vanilla oakiness with dark malts in the background. Taste is more balanced because of the oak sweetness, a complex combination of oak, dark roasted malts and European hops.
This beer will develop with age!
Never serve it cold!

6/7/2019. Bottle at VinoBeeroteca, Athens. Pours very dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of rich dark chocolate, roasted malt, wood, liquorice, coffee and black treacle. Medium sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Towards being full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Rich roasted toasty finish. Very drinkable.

From bottle. Muddy dark brown color with beige head. Malty aroma, roasted, smoked, smoked wood and smoked bacon too, licorice, coffee, chocolate. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma but better. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
