(33 cl bottle from Systembolaget)BB 2010-04-20On May 24, 2008Shady dark amber color, fluffy off-white head. Hoppy and spicy scent, also grass and nettles. Sweet and spicy taste. Sweet aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness.

33 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy golden orange with a dense off-white head, lasts for a few minutes before it completely collapses. Overripe fruit, light marzipan and a mild yeast note in the aroma. Sweet caramel malt at first before a dried fruity yeast flavour rolls over the tongue. Nice fruity and yeasty finish, holds a mild wooden note too.

Bottle at home ... Many thanks to Joris for this ... amber with big frothy foam head ... Yeasty toffee ... big strong flavour ... little sweet but a wonderful tart citrusness ... flaver persists wonderfully ... sweetness build with a little toffee. Oh im really digging this.

Bottle. Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, toffee, light sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (130208)

Bottle. (6.5%) Hazy, golden beer with an off-white head leaving nice lacings. Fruits, spice-notes, pale malt and a tiny note of vomit in the aroma. Fortunately, the vomit scent was weak and far in the background. Quite sweet in the mouth, with some alcohol and spices, as well as pale malt. Quite nice and quaffable. (070914)

Bottle at Moeder Lambic. Amber, thick beige head. Some toffee, more of an amber than a saison (it was down on the menu as a saison). But the hop on the finish is decent. Candy sugar in body. Fine, not exciting.

Hefig-malziger Antrunk, auch die Fruchtigkeit ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil. Die Malzigkeit wird im Mittelteil etwas stärker, das Bier bleibt aber einigermaßen spritzig. Ein leicht saurer Ton meldet sich und ist auch im Nachgeschmack noch zu erkennen, er nimmt aber nur eine geringe Rolle ein. Würzig-malziger Nachgeschmack. Beautiful, hazy amber color; generous head. Light aroma of caramel and grains. Medium body strength, the flavor is based on some sweet caramel and malt, with some good influences from the yeast; the bitterness is correct; but it’s a quite plain one, not exciting.
