Pours pitch black with a smooth brown head. Aroma of roasty malts, licorice, coffee, sweet syrup and toffee. Taste is sweetish, roasty and syrupy with loads of licorice, salty notes, toffee, coffee and dark chocolate. Finish is sweetish and heavy with some licorice, toffee and syrup. Quite heavy.

Draught @ Ølsnedkeren. Aroma has tobacco, ash and licorice. Flavour has strong salty licorice tones, tobacco, ash and licorice root. Too salty.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours near black with a small beige head. Aroma of alcohol, roast, dark chocolate, light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Light full bodied with soft carbonation. Seems to fresh with alcohol too noticeable.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Roasted dark malty and liqourice. Roasted. Smooth fruity. Roasted and liqourice. Roasted and dry malty finish.
