Hazy yellow, only white lacing. Aroma is of malt, hay, wet bread and sulphur or eggs. Taste medium sweet malt, some bread, bit of cardboard, hay, cooked veggies, yeast and at the start also some sulphur (less than in the nose) although it does mellow out at the middle of the glass. Light bodied.

Bottle. Pale yellow cloudy apperance with large spongy whitish head, citrus aroma, high carbonation, lemon peel taste with doughy background, abrupt finish with slightly bitter aftertaste. Nice for a hot summer day!

500ml bottle carried back home from Izmir, thanks to Frau Eva. Frothy, chalk white head with satisfying duration. Fragile lacing. Unclear golden coloured body. Moderate smell of bread-like malts and apricot. Fruity wheat to the flavour profile, hints of peach, basement, and pale malts. Mid-dry ending. Medium to thin bodied. Soft on the swallow. Easy going (shared with Finn, Tromsø 25.06.2014).

Flaske 0,5l. Spandert av Rune og delt under seanse på Nerstranda 25 Jun 14. Gyldengulbrun. Middels høyt skum med litt lacing. Uklar. Svakt syrlig maltaroma. 0 kullsyre. Smaken lett syrlig med litt pappkarakter i avslutninga. Litt tynn.

Light golden coloured body with hardly any white head on top - fairly muted here. Aroma of malt with a touch of lemons and a LOT of water - not much going on in the nose at all with this one. Very light malt flavour at first gives way to a funky earthy and wheatie flavour with not much else going on at all. Aftertaste shows some light sweetness, but mostly malt and water. Overall, a decent very light beer with not much flavour (good or bad) and a very earthy flavour at first. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from a small market here in Sultanahmet, Istanbul, Turkey a few minutes ago on 18-April-2014 sampled here in my apartment in Istanbul on 18-April-2014 a few hours before leaving for Germany!

Bottle. It pours a hazy golden body under a small, dense, off-white head. The aroma is rather grainy and hayish, with some wet cardboard and cooked vegetables. A bit more pleasant flavor, with a little bitterness showing up towards the end. Still, there’s some cooked vegetables and wet cardboard. Some fruityness too, and in the very end there’s some metallic notes. Medium to thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation level. Far from my favorite pilsner this one. 131116
