Adjunct: Beetroot, Local pine honey
Appearance: Dark pinkish, reddish, light claret. Dense, reddish head. Like krieks. Very attractive.
Aroma: Earthy, honey sweetness-bitterness, complex
Flavor: Meduim body. Very good balance of earthiness, bitterness and sweetness. The real difference between image and aroma/flavor.

Bottle from local supermarket around the hotel. Sweet, damn, this is sweet cherry or something, feels quite artificial, like for sure it does. Still better than Efes.

Bottle, 330 ml, courtesy of Cem and the Istanbul beer Club. Unlike others pours more like orange than red. Malty, some beetroot, caramel, sweetish. Some bitterness. Medium bodied.

From bottle at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Thanks George. Clear red amber color with off white head. Malty aroma, bread and caramel, some fruity and veggie notes. Sweet taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

Certainly a strange operation - maybe this would be better for the Turkish palate. Huge dose of beets like the Royal Rumble. Some odd honey aroma. Some vegetable bitterness. Tangy with astringency. Not very drinkable. Bottle at Burger Lab in Ataturk airport.
