On tap in south Nicosia. Modest foam and clear brown body, nice smoke that is reminiscent of scotch whisky, lots of peat pushing through. Flavour is leathery smoke, chewy biscuit. Medium on the mouth, could be fuller. Otherwise a nice smoked beer, hitting all the cues in a good way.

Bottle from b is for beer, chania. Aroma is perfectly german style smoked, like a schenkerla. Flavor tastes like smoked meat, more than schenkerla, also notes of flowers and caramel malts. If you fancy crazy smoked, then this one should not be passed. Tastes like warpigs, cph smells.

330ml bottle. Minimally milky, copper-ish red, dark amber colour with small, frothy, rapidly diminishing, off-white head. Smoky and caramel malty aroma, notes of smoked eel, smoked ham, wood ashes (beechwood, birch), fruity hoppy hints of red berries. Taste is moderately smoky, moderately bitter hoppy, slightly fruity, minimally diluted hints of smoked eel, smoked ham, wood ashes, cherrywood, cherries, slightly weak caramel malty basis; minimally chalky and metallic, bitter hoppy finish. Not bad.

0,33 l bottle from Zero Cafe Bar, Kos. Unclear dark amber in the glass. Small head. Smoked bacon smell. Taste starts mid smokey, some fruity parts. Increasing smoke but not overpowered. Still malty and hints of sweetness. Drinkable stuff.

On tap at Hoppy Pub, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma smells just like BBQ, with lots of sweet barbecued meat and barbecued kettle chips. Flavour is along the same lines, with the BBQ flavours really shining. Unusual, but this works wonderfully. Good stuff.
